Chairwoman, Debbie Edmunds, said, “We’re very excited about the variety of plants available for purchase this year. From shrubs and trees to perennials, gardeners will find plenty to spruce up their gardens and establish healthy root systems over the winter months. We will have a wonderful assortment of mums available for those who prepaid for their orders during BVGC meetings, at the Garden Party held last June or at the Farmers Market this summer. There will also be additional mums available for sale, but those interested should arrive early as the plants sell out quickly. Mums will be available in yellow, white, red, purple, bronze and tri-color. Should you wish to pre-order mums, there is still time. We’ll be taking orders at the Farmers Market next Sunday.”

It grows to heights of 12-16 inches and blooms in mid-Spring. Daffodils are pest resistant and do well in NWA landscapes. The Bella Vista Garden Club has planted over 15,000 Bella Vista daffodils throughout the city in recent years.

Proceeds from the Fall Plant Sale are used to fund scholarships for students studying horticulture at area colleges and universities. They are also used to support a variety of beautification projects around Bella Vista.
