Eatboro chamber seeking nominees
The Greater eatboro Chamber of Commerce will be holding its biennial Borough Ball Feb. 2P from S to 11 p.m. at the Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland.
“In keeping with our tradition, the chamber will once again be presenting awards for distinguished service rendered to the Borough of eatboro that are characterized by unselfish devotion to the welfare of others,” said Robert M. John, chamber member.
The categories for the awards include a “Service to Community,” given to an individual whose distinguished service has enhanced the quality of life in the borough. The second category is “Service to vouth,” an award that recognizes an individual who has given distinguished service that has affected the character development of youth in the borough. The third category is “Service to Public,” an award that will be presented to a public servant Eemployee of the borough, or person acting on behalf of the people or government of the boroughF who has given distinguished service enhancing the quality of public services. The fourth category is for “Service in Business.” This award is for a business that has given distinguished service improving the quality of business life in the greater eatboro community.
“Our awards committee is currently looking for recommendations from the public for people to be recognized in any of the aforementioned categories,” said chamber President Joseph J. Tryon Jr.
