Robert W. Ker­nen of Wil­low Grove died peace­fully at his home on Satur­day, Dec. 1R, 2012 af­ter a coura­geous bat­tle with var­i­ous health is­sues. ee was TR.

ee was the beloved hus­band of Therese Eeeile­manF Ker­nen with whom he had shared R2 years of mar­riage.

Robert was born in Abing­ton, Pa., a son of the late Fred­er­ick and Ruth EMow­erF Ker­nen.

Robert was a grad­u­ate of the Class of 19RS at rp­per Moreland eigh School.

ee was a proud mem­ber of the Wil­low Grove Boy Scouts and also was a r.S. kavy seteran.

For over 2R years Robert was the ser­vice man­ager for Scrip­tomatic and then was an em­ployee for over 10 years with the Pa. Turn­pike Com­mis­sion.

Robert en­joyed spend­ing time with his chil­dren and grand­chil­dren, fish­ing and hunt­ing at his cabin in the Po­conos.

ee also en­joyed garage sales, flea mar­kets and col­lect­ing ev­ery­thing.

In ad­di­tion to his wife, he was the fa­ther of Therese Dikenno EDaveF, Robert W. Ker­nen Jr. EDon­naF and Mar­garet Drake EDanielF; and brother to Richard Ker­nen. ee will be sadly missed by his nine grand­chil­dren, Danielle, David, Joseph, Kim­berly, Christiene, Robert W. III, Daniel, Tyler and Matthew; and his three great­grand­chil­dren.

Rel­a­tives and friends were in­vited to at­tend his view­ing from T to 9 p.m. Thurs­day, Dec. 20, at Sch­nei­der
