Horsham native releases book on celebrity secrets

“I’ve had the most amazing job in the world,” Gaida said. “In the book I reveal many of the secrets of awards shows ... and I dish a little dirt.”
GDLGD’s QRQfiFWLRQ ERRN, “$UP CDQdy: A Celebrity Escort’s Tales from the Red Carpet,” will hit the shelves of major retailers Jan. 31. In his book, Gaida goes through his adventures of handling celebrities down the red carpets and through awards shows. In addition, he gives tips on party crashing; dishes about the divas of the business; DQG UHflHFWs RQ sRPH RI hLs IDYRULWH celebrity encounters, including Queen Latifah and Susan Lucci. Gaida said the 300-page book is meant to be a quick read, with short and entertaining chapters that will answer many questions about the glamour and glitz of Hollywood.
“:LWh WhH GLIfiFuOW HFRQRPy, , IHHO like a lot of people have given up hope,” Gaida said. “I want to inspire people to go for their dreams. I think people should just go for it.”
Although Gaida has relocated from Horsham, he said his biggest inspirations come from his time at HatboroHorsham High School. Teachers he had there, Gaida said, pushed him to do more than he thought was possible and encouraged him to be himself. He said many of his teachers inspired him WR hDYH FRQfiGHQFH LQ hLPsHOI, sSHFLfiFDOOy WHDFhHUs -RDQH .DWsLss DQG Cynthia Raff, though there are many others.
“I think because of that it really changed me,” Gaida said. “I got some inspiration and faith in myself because of my teachers.”
