Dr. David C. Cooper Sr. of Glen­side died on Feb. 1, 2013, at age 87.

He was the hus­band of the late llive J. (nee Jenks). Fa­ther of haren Cooper Allen ( J e ff r e y), llive Cooper Felix, Deb­bie Cooper Na­gle (Michael) and David C. Cooper Jr. Also sur­vived by 13 grand­chil­dren; 11 geat­grand­chil­dren; his brothers, Wil­liam R. Cooper (Mar­cia) and Lloyd N. Cooper (Jean); and his sis­ter-in-law, Jacque. He was pre­ceded in death by his brother, Charles A. Cooper; grand­sons, David C. Cooper III and Christo­pher Na­gle; and his son-in-law, Stan­ley Felix.

Dr. Cooper was a den­tist for S0 years in Glen­side, Pa. He served in the r.S. Marines dur­ing WWII. He grad­u­ated from the rniver­sity of Penn­syl­va­nia Dental School in 1952. He was a mem­ber and past pres­i­dent of the Glen­side Ro­tary Club from19S2-19S3. He was very ac­tive in the world­wide Ro­tary Club ef­fort to erad­i­cate po­lio. He was a 32nd de­gree Ma­son and served on the board of direc­tors of the GOHQVLGH fiUH GHSDUWPHQW IRU
