DUI … He­len Black-Rocco, 46, of South­ern Av­enue, Am­bler, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled sub­stance, care­less driv­ing and re­lated charges Jan. 20 af­ter po­lice ob­served a black Nis­san Al­tima make an il­le­gal right turn on a red light from Town­ship Line Road onto Old vork Road and ob­served the ve­hi­cle switch lanes with­out sig­nal­ing at 12:12 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle at Old vork Road and Washington Lane and de­tected the odor of al­co­hol coming from Black-Rocco’s mouth, po­lice said. She failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal, po­lice said. Tests showed her BAC was 0.121 per­cent, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Bobby Richard­son, 47, of Oak­land Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with re­tail theft and pos­ses­sion, re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia and ha­rass­ment Feb. 10 af­ter a Gi­ant Food Store man­ager ob­served Richard­son se­lect mer­chan­dise from the shelf and con­ceal it in his back­pack at 10:27 a.m. at the Gi­ant in the 2300 block of Susque­hanna Road, po­lice said. Richard­son was de­tained by the man­ager, who he pushed, in an at­tempt to es­cape, po­lice said. Po­lice ar­rested him and found he was in pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, po­lice said.

Theft … Fam­ily Dol­lar em­ployee Steven M. Scott, 22, of An­drews Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with theft by un­law­ful tak­ing or dis­po­si­tion Feb. 3 af­ter store se­cu­rity ob­served him steal cash from the reg­is­ter at the Fam­ily Dol­lar in the 900 block of Eas­ton Road at 3 p.m., po­lice said. Se­cu­rity also ob­served Scott on sur- veil­lance ac­cept money from cus­tomers, not give re­ceipts and then void the trans­ac­tion and, in one in­stance, take money from a cus­tomer and place it di­rectly in his pants pocket, po­lice said. This oc­curred from Jan. 18 through Feb. 3, po­lice said. When con­fronted, Scott ad­mit­ted to steal­ing since De­cem­ber 2012 and void­ing 278 trans­ac­tions for a to­tal of $1,112, po­lice said.

Sim­ple as­sault … Jamil Stock­ton, 21, of Le­banon Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with sim­ple as­sault, dis­or­derly con­duct, pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana and ha­rass­ment Feb. 13 af­ter po­lice re­sponded to the report of a street fight in the 100 block of Old vork Road at 4:24 p.m., po­lice said. Wit­nesses ob­served Stock­ton hit and kick a vic­tim who was nine months preg­nant af­ter he pushed her to the ground, po­lice said. The vic­tim sus­tained cuts and scratches to her knees, po­lice said. Stock­ton was taken into cus­tody and trans­ported to the Abing­ton Po­lice De­part­ment to await ar­raign­ment, po­lice said. Dur­ing Stock­ton’s ar­rest, he was found to be in pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Ile­sha Robin­son-John­son, 34, of Pass­more Street, Philadel­phia, was cited for re­tail theft af­ter Tar­get se­cu­rity ob­served Robin­son-John­son se­lect $58 worth of mer­chan­dise, con­ceal it in her purse and exit the store with­out paying at the Tar­get in the 1400 block of Old Road at 6:20 p.m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Frank Der­rick, 23, of Fern­wood Av­enue, was cited for dis­or­derly con­duct Feb. 8 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle at Ring and Dav­isville roads and found a small amount of mar­i­juana in the ve­hi­cle at 4:36 p.m., po­lice said.

DH­fiDnW WUHsSDss … Bran­don Konzel­man, 25, of Garden Av­enue, Hor­sham, was cited for defiant tres­pass Feb. 8 af­ter po­lice found Konzel­man un­der the in­flu­ence of drugs in the Wil­low Grove Park mall at 6:01 p.m., po­lice said. He was asked sev­eral times to leave, but did not com­ply, po­lice said.

Ha­rass­ment … Jonathon Mullins, 20, of Osce­ola Av­enue, Elkins Park, was cited for ha­rass­ment Feb. 8 af­ter he choked and struck a vic­tim dur­ing a phys­i­cal al­ter­ca­tion at 9:56 p.m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Keith Ham­mond, 21, of Ed­mund Street, Philadel­phia, was cited for dis­or­derly con­duct Feb. 10 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle at Town­ship Line and Old vork roads at 7:21 p.m. and found a small amount of mar­i­juana in the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Ti­ne­sha Leonard, 20, of Stafford Street, Philadel­phia, was cited for re­tail theft Feb. 11 af­ter Macy’s se­cu­rity ob­served Leonard se­lect $150 worth of mer­chan­dise, en­ter a fit­ting room, con­cealed the items in her purse and leave the store with­out paying at the Macy’s in the Wil­low Grove Park mall at 4:45 p.m., po­lice said. not gained to the home and noth­ing is miss­ing from the prop­erty.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness ... On Feb. 10 at 12:47 a.m., Christo­pher S. Brodie, 44, of Hat­boro, was ar­rested and cited for dis­or­derly con­duct and pub­lic drunk­en­ness when of­fi­cers re­sponded to a report of an in­tox­i­cated sub­ject re­fus­ing to leave a prop­erty in the 400 block of Jack­sonville Road, po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness ... On Feb. 8 at 7:46 p.m., Thomas Wolf­gang, 56, of Hat­boro, was ar­rested and cited for pub­lic drunk­en­ness when of­fi­cers re­sponded to a dis­tur­bance in the 400 block of Jack­sonville Road, po­lice said.

DUI ... On Feb. 8 at 4:30 p.m., Heinz Trus­torff, 55, of Southamp­ton, was ar­rested for DrI when he was found in­tox­i­cated and asleep be­hind the wheel of his ve­hi­cle in the area of Jack­sonville Road and Mon­u­ment Av­enue, po­lice said.

Theft ... Some­time overnight be­tween Feb. 3 some­one smashed the pas­sen­ger’s side win­dow of a ve­hi­cle parked on Con­cord Place and stole ap­prox­i­mately $1,500 worth of tools that were stored in­side.

War­rant ser­vice ... On Feb. 3 at 11:11 p.m., Michael J. Welsh Jr., 28, of Hat­boro, was ar­rested on a Mont­gomery County bench war­rant for pro­ba­tion vi­o­la­tions when he was found in the 200 block of South Warmin­ster Road, po­lice said. He was re­leased to the cus­tody of the Mont­gomery County Sher­iff’s De­part­ment.

Sim­ple as­sault/ false idHnWi­fiFDWiRn WR lDw Hn­force­ment ... On Jan. 26 at 10:43 p.m., of­fi­cers re­sponded to a dis­tur­bance at the 7-Eleven store at 1 N. vork Road. As a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, Cavon A. Broad­dus, 27, of Philadel­phia, was ar­rested and charged with sim­ple as­sault, pos­ses­sion of con­trolled sub­stance, false iden­ti­fi­ca­tion to law en­force­ment, false re­ports to law en­force­ment and ha­rass­ment, po­lice said.

The in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­vealed that he be­came up­set with the store em­ployee over a mat­ter and left. He then re­turned to the store with a large dog and threat­ened the em­ployee, po­lice said. When of­fi­cers ar­rived he pro­vided a false name and an in­con­sis­tent ver­sion of events, po­lice said. When he was ar­rested he was found to be in pos­ses­sion of heroin, po­lice said.

Broad­dus was ar­raigned be­fore District Judge Juanita Price of Abing­ton and was in­car­cer­ated at the Mont­gomery County Cor­rec­tional Fa­cil­ity when he failed to post the $10,000 bail, po­lice said.
