Emergency shelter offering 49 beds open for homeless
Longmont’s HOPE — Homeless Outreach Providing Encouragement — has opened its emergency weather shelter at Journey Church, 2000 Pike Road.

Individuals can use the emergency shelter for one night before they are required to call Coordinated Entr y, he said.
HOPE also has a day shelter open 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday at Journey Church, according to the website. A day shelter is open noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays at Faithpoint office and warehouse, 804 S. Lincoln St.

Schwar tz said. Individuals can charge their phones, access the internet and connect with case management.
The emergency shelter is opened sporadically through the winter,
Schwar tz said.
