FRAUD » A res­i­dent re­ported be­ing in­volved in a fraud­u­lent ex­change of four iPhone X cell­phones on May 15, po­lice said.

FRAUD » Cit­i­zens Bank, 7425 Front St., re­ported May 16 that an el­derly client is be­ing de­frauded be­cause he has made numer­ous with­draws to­tal­ing $36,000 in an in­ter­net com­puter scam, po­lice said. The vic­tim was con­tacted and Mont­gomery County Ag­ing and Adult ser­vices along with the vic­tim’s lawyer were no­ti­fied, po­lice said.

Cantey, 45, of the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, was taken into cus­tody at 10:54 a.m. May 16 in the 8100 block of Washington Lane on a Philadel­phia pro­ba­tion war­rant and turned over to Philadel­phia po­lice, po­lice said. STOLEN PHONE » Two Philadel­phia ju­ve­niles, a male age 16 of the 200 block of East Haines Street and a 15-year-old male of the 100 block of Wal­nut Lane, were charged with re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty af­ter a vic­tim traced a stolen phone to a res­i­dence in the 1900 block of Cheltenham Av­enue at 9:45 a.m. May 16, po­lice said. DRUG CHARGE » David Olsen, 39, of the 600 block of Hor­sham Road, Hor­sham, was ar­rested fol­low­ing a traf­fic stop at 11:44 p.m. May 19 at Route 309 and Eas­ton Road when three bun­dles of sus­pected heroin and metham­phetamine were found in his ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. BUR­GLARY » A home in the 100 block of Rices Mill Road, Wyn­cote, was bur­glar­ized around 11:30 a.m. May 25 while the res­i­dents were home, po­lice said. A neigh­bor re­ported ob­serv­ing a black male in his 20s, wear­ing a white T-shirt and black sweat­pants and car­ry­ing a black back­pack, exit the prop­erty, po­lice said. The bur­glar ap­par­ently en­tered through an un­locked door and stole an Ama­zon Alexa speaker, po­lice said. FRAUD » A res­i­dent re­ported June 1 be­ing scammed out of $800 af­ter hav­ing prob­lems with an iPhone and going on­line, where the vic­tim pulled up what hap­pened to be a web­site pos­ing as Ap­ple’s site and was told to buy $800 in gift cards and pro­vide the num­bers in or­der to have the prob­lem fixed, po­lice said.
