The Penn­syl­va­nia Ear In­sti­tute (PEI) of Salus Uni­ver­sity re­cently of­fered an open house and tin­ni­tus in­for­ma­tion ses­sion where Re­becca Blaha, AuD, clin­i­cal ed­u­ca­tor at PEI, pre­sented an over­view of tin­ni­tus, a con­di­tion that af­fects more than 50 mil­lion Amer­i­cans and con­sists of a per­sis­tent ear ring­ing, buzzing or hiss­ing. This pub­lic event also of­fered free hear­ing screen­ings and tech­nol­ogy demon­stra­tions by Blaha and cur­rent PEI stu­dents.
