Township launches first ever Restaurant Week
Cheltenham Township will hold its first annual Restaurant Week: Eat. Drink. Cheltenham!
The week-long restaurant promotion is a celebration of Cheltenham’s dining scene that provides an opportunity for diners to enjoy dinners from the area’s best chefs for seven days.
Restaurant Week runs from Saturday, Sept. 22, to Saturday, Sept. 29.
Ten of Cheltenham Township’s restaurants will offer fine cuisine at a great value with special threeand four-course dinner specials, priced between $20 and $35 per person.
Almost all of the restaurants are a BYOB or have a full-service bar. Each restaurant created its own special just for Restaurant Week, and many include prix-fixe menus. All the specials and details can be found on CheltResWeek. com.

• Jasmine Asian Bistro, 138 S. Easton Road, Glenside
• Marco Polo Ristorante & Bar, 8080 Old York Road, Elkins Park
• Park Plates, 7852 Montgomery Ave., Elkins Park
• Robert’s Block, 2 Roberts Ave., Glenside
• Trevi, 21 East Glenside Ave., Glenside
Cheltenham Township’s Economic Development TaskForce (EDTF) is focused on helping are businesses thrive. Restaurant Week was created by the EDTF to highlight Cheltenham’s diverse dining scene and is intended to be an annual promotion.
“Eat. Drink. Cheltenham! is an opportunity to highlight the unique local dining venues in Cheltenham,” said Dwight Pedro Lewis, chairman of the Cheltneham Township Economic Development Task Force. “We hope you will take the opportunity to bring your friends and family out to support our local businesses and find a new favorite meal or restaurant along the way.”
