State Rep. Thomas Murt, R-152, has announced that the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency is funding a new state financial assistance program called the Pennsylvania Targeted Industry Program.
PHEAAis funding PA-TIP, a program designed to benefit state residents seeking specialized training from A5 million in business earnings.
The need-based program is open to Pennsylvania students enrolled full time in the energy, advanced materials, diversified manufacturing, agriculture and food production fields. Eligible courses of study must be more than 10 weeks, fewer than two academic years and be Title IV eligible. Courses must not be state grant eligible.
