DUI … Patricia Ela, 39, of Rams­gate Court, Blue Bell, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of al­co­hol June 17 af­ter her ve­hi­cle drifted off the road and struck a pole on Prospect Av­enue and Old York Road at 8:10 p.m., po­lice said. Ela was taken into cus­tody af­ter po­lice ob­served she had trou­ble keep­ing bal­ance, im­paired mo­tor skills and glassy eyes, po­lice said. She was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal, where tests showed her BAC was 0.314 per­cent, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Bran­don Wall, 30, of North Bethlehem Pike, Maple dlen, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance and drug para­pher­na­lia June 25 af­ter a traf­fic stop on the the 1600 block of Sum­mit Av­enue, Wil­low drove, at 9:21 a.m., po­lice re­ported. Wall was pulled over when po­lice ob­served him mak­ing quick turns, and that he did not have an in­spec­tion sticker on his ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. A search of the ve­hi­cle turned up 24 pack­ets of heroin and a pack­age of hy­po­der­mic nee­dles, and, in ad­di­tion, Wall had five pack­ets of co­caine in his wal­let, po­lice said.

DUI ... Kevin C. Lyons, 54, of Brights Lane, Blue Bell, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of al­co­hol, pos­ses­sion of marijuana, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, ac­ci­dents in­volv­ing dam­age to ve­hi­cle and care­less driv- ing June 29 af­ter he struck the rear driver’s side bumper of a parked ve­hi­cle on the 2600 block of Jenk­in­town Road, dlen­side, at 9:55 p.m., po­lice said. Lyons drove to a nearby park­ing lot, where wit­nesses ob­served him re­move a box and a cooler of beer from his ve­hi­cle and hide them in the bushes, po­lice said. He later pulled out a marijuana pipe, which he also hid the bushes, po­lice said. He failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal where he re­fused blood tests, po­lice said. A lab test of the pipe was pos­i­tive for marijuana, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Ti­mothy P. Wol­cott, 36, of Brad­field Road, Abing­ton, was charged with pos­ses­sion of marijuana, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia and driv­ing with­out reg­is­tra­tion July 2 af­ter his ve­hi­cle was stopped on Jenk­in­town Road and Hamel Av­enue in Ard­s­ley at 8:23 p.m., po­lice said. Po­lice searched the ve­hi­cle and con­fis­cated a scale and a plas­tic bag of marijuana from his per­son, po­lice said. Lab tests showed that Wol­cott was in pos­ses­sion of 12.90 grams of marijuana, po­lice said.

DUI … Ja­son E. Mor­ris, 26, of East Mary­land Road, Wil­low drove, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of a con­trolled sub­stance, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia and pos­ses­sion of a small amount of marijuana July 7 af­ter he made a U-turn try­ing to avoid a DUI check­point on the 700 block of Hunt­ing­don Pike at 1:30 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped his ve­hi­cle, ob­served smoke com­ing from inside and trans­ported Mor­ris to the check­point, po­lice said. Mor­ris failed field so­bri­ety tests and was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal for blood tests, which showed he had marijuana in his sys­tem, po­lice said.

DUI … Drew Su­chodol­ski, 28, of Waldemire Drive, Philadel­phia, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of al­co­hol July 7 af­ter his ve­hi­cle was stopped at a DUI check­point on the 700 block of Hunt­ing­don Pike at 1:50 a.m., po­lice said. Su­chodol­ski failed field so­bri­ety tests, and a PBT test was pos­i­tive for al­co­hol, po­lice said. Su­chodol­ski was trans­ported to Fas­track, where tests showed his BAC was 0.089 per­cent, po­lice said.

DUI … Daniel Bar­rett, 30, of Loney Street, Rock­ledge, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence al­co­hol July 7 af­ter his ve­hi­cle was stopped at a DUI check­point on the 700 block of Hunt­ing­don Pike at 2:15 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice de­tected the odor of al­co­hol com­ing from his breath and ob­served a bot­tle of al­co­hol in the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Bar­rett failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal, where test showed his BAC was 0.111 per­cent, po­lice said.

DUI … Tomeka S. Magee, 33, of Fron­tenac Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of al­co­hol and a con­trolled sub­stance July 7 af­ter her ve­hi­cle was stopped at a DUI check­point on the 700 block of Hunt­ing­don Pike at 2:32 a.m., po­lice said. Magee ad­mit­ted to smok­ing marijuana and drink­ing two glasses of wine ear­lier in the evening, po­lice said. She failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal, where tests showed her BAC was 0.052 per­cent and also showed she had marijuana in her sys­tem, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Charles d. Fin­ney, 32, of Cedar Lane, dlen­side, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia af­ter po­lice ob­served him walk­ing at the in­ter­sec­tion of Hazel Av­enue and Lo­cust Road in dlen­side at 4:16 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice de­tected the odor of al­co­hol on his breath and ob­served that he blood shot and glassy eyes, po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated pills from his pants pocket, and lab tests showed that the pills were oxy­codone and ac­etaminophen, po­lice said.

DUI … Alexan­dra Kap­nek, 22, of Sig­nal Hill Road, Dresher, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of al­co­hol and a con­trolled sub­stance af­ter po­lice stopped her ve­hi­cle at the in­ter­sec­tion of North Hills Av­enue and Limekiln Pike July 8 at 1:35 a.m. for fail­ing to stop at a red light, po­lice said. Kap­nek failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to Holy Re- deemer Hospi­tal, where tests showed her BAC was 0.147 per­cent, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Ephraim M. Din­gle, 18, of West Av­enue, Elkins Park, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance, pos­ses­sion of a small amount of marijuana and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia July 12 af­ter po­lice ob­served his ve­hi­cle parked on Irvin Road in Hunt­ing­don Val­ley at 11:51 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated marijuana cigars from the ash tray, seven bags of marijuana found in and around the ve­hi­cle and a marijuana grinder and pipe, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Re­nee Ruggiero, 23, of Ty­rone Road, Philadel­phia, was charged with pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance and oper­at­ing a ve­hi­cle with­out rear lights July 13 af­ter a traf­fic stop on at Old York and More­land roads at 9:33 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated a plas­tic bag con­tain­ing heroin pack­ets, a cut down straw con­tain­ing heroin residue and con­fis­cated 23 metal grave­stone plates from the trunk of the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. John delse­bach, 24, of Maple­wood Av­enue, Hat­field, a pas­sen­ger in the ve­hi­cle, was also charged with pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance and drug para­pher­na­lia, as well as re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty in re­gard to the grave­stone plates, which he al­legedly stole from his em­ployer, po­lice said.

DUI … Wil­liam De­lany, 43, of Town­ship Line Road, Jenk­in­town, was charged with driv­ing un­der the influence of al­co­hol, care­less driv­ing and fail­ure to drive on the right side of the road­way July 15 af­ter his ve­hi­cle was stopped at the in­ter­sec­tion of Jenk­in­town Road and Elkins Av­enue at 2:09 a.m. af­ter po­lice ob­served his ve­hi­cle cross over the dou­ble yel­low lines three times, po­lice said. Po­lice de­tected the odor of al­co­hol com­ing from his per­son, po­lice said. He failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal, where he re­fused to sub­mit to blood tests, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Nofiz J. Adul-Hamid, 20, of McKin­ley Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with re­tail theft July 21 af­ter a se­cu­rity of­fi­cer ob­served him steal three watches, val­ued at a to­tal of $89.85, from the Sears at Wil­low drove Park mall at 3 p.m., po­lice said. Hamid se­lected the three items, con­cealed them in his jacket and left the store with­out pay­ing, po­lice said. He was lo­cated on the first floor of the mall, taken him into cus­tody and searched, but the watches were not found, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Janne C. Ford, 52, of deneva Av­enue, dlen­side, was charged with re­tail theft July 19 af­ter a se­cu­rity of­fi­cer ob­served her make a pur­chase at Macy’s in Wil­low drove Park mall at 11:28 a.m., then se­lect sev­eral items of cloth­ing and en­ter a fit­ting room, po­lice said. Ford con­cealed the mer­chan­dise in her shop­ping bag and at­tempted to leave the store with­out pay­ing, po­lice said. She was taken into cus­tody, and the mer­chan­dise was re­cov­ered, po­lice said.

Theft … Brooke A. Ruggiero, 20, of Halde­man Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with theft by de­cep­tion, theft by un­law­ful tak­ing or dis­po­si­tion and bad checks May 24 af­ter she paid her $37.62 bill from Roslyn Pizza, lo­cated on the 2400 block of Susque­hanna Road, with a bad check, po­lice said.

Sim­ple as­sault … Aaron Ol­li­son, West Ox­ford Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with sim­ple as­sault July 14 af­ter he struck a vic­tim in the mouth, leav­ing a small cut and bruis­ing the vic­tim’s lip, dur­ing a do­mes­tic al­ter­ca­tion at 5:20 p.m. on the 2600 block of El­liott Av­enue, Wil­low drove, po­lice said.

An­i­mal run­ning at large … Patricia Wei­de­man, 50, of Wood­land Av­enue, was cited for hav­ing her an­i­mals run­ning at large and for har­bor-

ing dan­ger­ous an­i­mals July 25 af­ter her al­low­ing her dogs to run free at 8:08 p.m., po­lice said.

An­i­mals cre­at­ing nui­sances … Michael Regester, 69, of Crescent Av­enue, dlen­side, was cited for an­i­mals cre­at­ing a nui­sance July 15 af­ter his dog defe­cated on pri­vate prop­erty at 12:55 a.m., po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness … Joseph Robin­son, 67, of North Seventh Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with pub­lic drunk­en­ness July 28 af­ter po­lice were called to the Crest­mont Coun­try Club, where Robin­son, who was in­tox­i­cated, threat­ened pa­trons at 3:25 p.m., po­lice said. Po­lice lo­cated Robin­son stag­ger­ing down Hamil­ton Av­enue, po­lice said.

Un­der­age drink­ing … Kait­lyn Starke, 18, of Oak­wood Drive, Hunt­ing­don Val­ley, was charged with un­der­age drink­ing and the pos­ses­sion of a al­co­holic bev­er­age July 28 af­ter a traf­fic stop on Can­ter­bury and Old York roads at 9:03 p.m., po­lice said. Starke ad­mit­ted to hav­ing a box of wine in her ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … David Smith, 30, of Rob­bins Av­enue, Rock­ledge, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct July 29 af­ter po­lice ob­served a ve­hi­cle parked in the 19th Hole Lounge park­ing lot on the 3000 block of Jenk­in­town Road and ob­served a marijuana pipe in plain view, po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness … Pre­ston John-Browie Jr., of Henry Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with pub­lic drunk­en­ness July 30 af­ter po­lice found him passed out in a park­ing lot on the 1400 block of Old York Road at 10:06 p.m., po­lice said. Browie ad­mit­ted to in­hal­ing the con­tents of a Dust Off can, po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness … Jer­ald Kahn, 23, of He­ston Street, Roslyn, was charged with pub­lic drunk­en­ness July 30 af­ter po­lice ob­served him stum­bling on the side­walk and uri­nat­ing be­hind a dump­ster on the 1100 block of Eas­ton Road at 11:36 p.m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Tammy Smith, 33, of Av­enue C, Hor­sham, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct July 31 af­ter her car was stopped on the 400 block of North Hills Av­enue at 3:09 a.m., and she ad­mit­ted to hav­ing two marijuana pipes in her ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Earl Castle­berry, 56, of the unit block of East Springer Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with re­tail theft af­ter he was ob­served con­ceal­ing $49.15 worth of mer­chan­dise and then at­tempt­ing to exit with­out pay­ing at Home De­pot, 2385 W. Chel­tenham Ave., Wyn­cote, at 3:08 p.m. Aug. 6, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft ... Four women and one man took $150 worth of hair from Hair USA, 8148 Ogontz Ave., Wyn­cote, at 5:35 p.m. Aug. 6, po­lice said.

Bur­glary ... Po­lice re­sponded to a se­cu­rity alarm at Sprint PCS, 3001 W. Chel­tenhamAve., Wyn­cote, at 6:38 a.m. Aug. 7 to find some­one had bro­ken in through the front door and taken ap­prox­i­mately 40 to 50 iPhones, po­lice said.

Van­dal­ism ... Ave­hi­cle parked on the 7200 block of Ch­est­nut Av­enue, Mel­rose Park, was van­dal­ized overnight Aug. 7, po­lice said. Both side mir­rors, the wind­shield wipers and the right tail light were bro­ken, while an un­known liq­uid and cat lit­ter were put on the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Theft ... A 16-year-old Chel­tenham boy will face charges of theft and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty af­ter his grand­fa­ther re­ported he took $46 from his wal­let and then used his debit card to spend $45 at a Wawa Aug. 8, po­lice said.

Theft ... Bran­den Hodge, 28, of the 7200 block of Limekiln Pike, Philadel­phia, was charged with re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty and dis­or­derly con­duct af­ter he took a black Nokia Lu­mia cell­phone from the T-Mo­bile store, 2385 W. Chel­tenhamAve., Wyn­cote, at 1:39 p.m. Aug. 9, po­lice said. Po­lice re­ceived a call at 1:58 p.m. that Hodge had re­turned to the mall and was try­ing to re­sell the phone to a mall kiosk, po­lice said.

Bur­glary ... Po­lice re­sponded to a re­port of a bur­glary at a res­i­dence on the 7700 block of Wash­ing­ton Lane, Wyn­cote, at 1:44 p.m. Aug. 11, po­lice said. The bur­glary is cur­rently un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice said.

Bur­glary ... Items val­ued at a to­tal of $950 were taken from a res­i­dence on the 200 block of Marvin Road, Elkins Park, Aug. 11, po­lice said. En­try was made through the rear door, po­lice said.

Van­dal­ism ... Both side mir­rors and pieces of the body mold­ing was taken from a ve­hi­cle parked on the 1900 block of Mather Way, Elkins Park, Aug. 12, po­lice said.
