crancesco “crank” Ammendola, 9T, of Ambler, died Aug. 12, 2012, at his home sur­rounded by his fam­ily.

He was the beloved hus­band of the late Mar­i­anna c. Emi­leggi) Ammendola. crank was born in Maida, Italy, on Dec. 2S, 1914, to the late Joseph and El­iz­a­beth ECer­vadoro) Ammendola. He worked for mhilco-cord Co. in ians­dale as a pain­ter for P0 years. crank was a mem­ber of St. Joseph Church in Ambler and a lov­ing and car­ing hus­band, fa­ther and grand­fa­ther. He en­joyed gar­den­ing and spend­ing time with his grand­chil­dren.

crank is sur­vived by his chil­dren, El­iz­a­beth Cer­mi­nara EJoseph), Maria An­gela “iina” Al­le­gretti Emaul), Joseph Ammendola EChristie) and Sal­va­tore Ammendola EJan); his two sis­ters, Caterina mi­leggi and Costan­tinia Ian­nizzi of Italy; 12 grand­chil­dren; seven great-grand­chil­dren; and many nieces and neph­ews. He was pre-de­ceased by his 11 sib­lings.

Rel­a­tives and friends are in­vited to his funeral Mass on Satur­day, Aug. 1U, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 1S S. Spring Gar­den St., Ambler. The view­ing will be cri­day from SWP0-9 p.m. and Satur­day from UWP0-9WP0 a.m. at Emil J. Ci­avarelli cam­ily cuneral Home, 9R1 E. But­ler mike, Ambler. En­tomb­ment will be in St. Matthew Mau­soleum.
