Tele town hall
State Rep. Madeleine Dean, D-153, will host a telephone town hall meeting Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.
Residents will automatically receive a phone call at the start of the meeting. To “attend” the meeting, all they need to do is stay on the phone. The meeting will consist of a live legislative update touching on major issues in the district and Harrisburg, as well as a question-andanswer period.
Constituents can listen to the town hall, ask questions and take part in polls – all through a touch-tone phone.
“If you have a question about any state or local issue affecting the 153rd Legislative District, I encourage you to just pick up the phone when it rings at 7 p.m. Thursday.”
Those who don’t have their questions answered live during the discussion will have an opportunity to record their question and forward it to Dean’s office.
Residents also can send a question before the event to townhall@ pahouse.net.
