DENTON — Due to water damage incurred during a storm, the Caroline County Department of Social Services’ Family Investment Administration and Child Support offices have been temporarily relocated.

The Family Investment Administration office, which handles the food supplement program, medical assistance and emergency assistance, is now located at 317 Carter Ave., Denton.

The Child Support office is now located in the John R. Hargreaves District Court Multi-Services Center, at 207 S. Third St., Denton.

Both offices will remain in those alternate locations until repairs are complete at 300 Market St., Denton.

Both offices can still be reached at 410-819-4500.

Terry Bond, management associate and PQI coordinator, said the water leaked through the roof of the Market Street building during the heavy rain that came through the area Monday, Sept. 19, damaging all of the offices.

She said the building’s owner does not yet have an estimate on how long repairs will take.

The Caroline County Department of Social Services’ building at 300 Market St. was recently damaged by heavy rain.
