CCPS sets community engagement
DENTON — The Caroline County Board of Education will host What Counts, a community engagement night, to get community input to be used in the development of the school system’s strategic plan.
Maryland Association of Boards of Education staff and community stakeholders will facilitate this event, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12, at Denton Elementary School, 303 Sharp Road, Denton.
What Counts asks parents, staff, students, community members, local businesses and elected officials what matters to them in the school system, what they value, what is important and what counts when assessing the school system’s productivity and success for its students.
Anyone interested and able to attend should RSVP to Vivian Fisher, administrative assistant to Superintendent John D. Ewald and the Board of Education, at Fisher.Vivian@ ccpsstaff.org no later than Monday, Nov. 28.
