Stacey run­ning un­op­posed in Pre­ston election

PRE­STON — Pre­ston Town Com­mis­sioner Robert Stacey will be run­ning for re-election Mon­day, April 24, at town hall.

He is run­ning un­op­posed. He earned a spot on the Pre­ston Town Com­mis­sion in a spe­cial election in Au­gust 2015. He also served on the com­mis­sion from 2007 to 2009.

He has served on Pre­ston’s ethics com­mit­tee. He is a re­tired fire­fighter, hav­ing served for 15 years in Wash­ing­ton, D.C.. He said he cur­rently works for Ster­ling Cus­tom Homes as a car­pen­ter and has been with the com­pany for 11 years.
