HCR-AZ is a serene, se­cluded horse camp lo­cated at the base of the Santa Catalina Moun­tains near Or­a­cle, Ariz., on the edge of Or­a­cle State Park. The camp of­fers pull-through liv­ing-quar­ters-trailer sites with full hookups, plus guest houses, cov­ered 12-foot-by-24-foot cor­rals, an arena, a round pen, sta­ble, tack room, bath­rooms, laun­dry fa­cil­i­ties, and a com­mu­nity room.

You’ll en­joy un­lim­ited rid­ing on state and fed­eral land sur­round­ing the ranch. Trails fea­ture a va­ri­ety of to­pog­ra­phy and plant life, along with pic­turesque views. El­e­va­tion ranges from 2,200 feet to 9,000 feet above sea level. The ranch is owned by Doug and Jody Lind­gren, who also own Hay Creek Ranch near Nemo, S.D.
