Riding Yosemite

Trail Rider - - AROUND THE CAMPFIRE -

I was so pleased to see that Kent and Charlene Krone had ridden their horses in Yosemite National Park! For a decade, I was a Yosemite horseback-riding addict. One summer, we logged 500 miles in the park, in day trips.

For people looking for more information on riding in Yosemite, I have a website: www.yosemiteonhorseback.com. Some of the detailed trail descriptions have a fee for use, but there’s some good free information available also.

Check the “Helpful Tips” tab for product reviews, ideas for obtaining maps, and articles that give suggestions to help keep you safe while riding in this high granite country.

There’s also a “News” tab you can check to see whether there’s any current informa- tion you might need to know for the area in which you intend to ride.

Happy trails, and I hope many folks follow the Krones to Yosemite. Cindy Casey Mariposa, California
