There are four kinds of CHA mem­ber­ship: youth mem­bers; in­di­vid­ual mem­bers; busi­ness/pro­gram mem­bers; and af­fil­i­ate mem­bers. CHA mem­bers help to shape the or­ga­ni­za­tion by vot­ing in elec­tions, serv­ing on the board, vol­un­teer­ing for and at events, and par­tic­i­pat­ing on com­mit­tees.

“Mem­bers join be­cause they be­lieve in the im­por­tance of safety and ed­u­ca­tion in the equine in­dus­try, so they are ea­ger to sup­port the as­so­ci­a­tion that spot­lights these pri­or­i­ties,” says CHA Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Christy Landwehr.
