Bandage Knife

Trail Rider - - AROUND THE CAMPFIRE -

I just read your great article on firstaid kits for horses (“5 First-Aid Kit Essentials,” Your Healthy Horse, March ’17). I would also recommend carrying a replaceable-blade knife, such as a dry-wall knife, and install a curved blade. It’ll cut through most any bandage, and you won’t have worry about stabbing your horse if he jerks away. Dennis M. Johnston Northeast Ohio
