Texas Hill Country Resort

Trail Rider - - HOT ON THE TRAIL -

The Inn at Dos Brisas is a luxury ranch resort situated in Washington, Texas, about an hour from Houston. The resort is open year-round; the best times to visit are the cooler months of fall, winter, and spring.

This idyllic retreat sits on 313 acres in the southern foothills of the Texas Hill Country. Board your own horse, or ride one of the ranch’s gentle mounts. Trails take you over grassy meadows and rolling hills.

Equine amenities include 13-foot-by-13-foot stalls, four large turnout pastures, a tack room, and a wash stall. Also available are an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and a round pen. Training clinics and riding lessons are offered throughout the year.

Originally built as a private estate, the resort features nine Spanish-style haciendas and casitas, with private plunge pools, fireplaces, and antique furnishings. The restaurant’s daily-changing menu comes from its 42-acre USDA-certified organic farm.
