Equine Acupressure DVD

Trail Rider - - HOT ON THE TRAIL -

In Acupressure for Horses DVD: Basics, Types of Horses, Practical Uses, Dr. med. vet. Ina Gösmeier explains how to use acupressure to help keep your horse healthy or to help him when he’s unwell.

Dr. Gösmeier has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine in Marl, Germany, for more than 30 years. She specializes in acupressure, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal therapy. Since 2002, she has been responsible for the horses on the German national teams at championship events and in international competition, where she maintains the health, well-being, and performance of the horses using naturopathic methods.

Dr. Gösmeier explains that acupressure is a therapeutic tool used to maintain balance and harmony of the whole body. Specific points on the horse’s body are touched with the fingers or hands to restore the flow of vital energies. Every horse owner can learn and practice this technique; no certification is required. Runtime: 120 minutes. Cost: $45. Contact: Available for preorder at www.equinenetworkstore.com/collections/general-health. — Cate Lamm, The Trail Rider Editorial Assistant
