Situated on the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains, deep in Golden’s backcountry, Chatter is known for its large and spectacular terrain. Mind-blowing powder snowboarding takes place in 58,000 acres of alpine bowls, stunning glaciers, and endless tree runs. All trips include helicopter transportation to the lodge, backcountry lodging, gourmet meals, and guided catboarding. With over 120 miles of cat roads built, the choices are endless, and so are the good times. The Chatter Creek lodge is legendary, with a full bar, game room, massage studio, and trips no one will forget.

This year, Chatter Creek has rolled out a guided splitboarding program, which offers a new backcountry experience to guests. Guests of the program receive the same Chatter treatment (heli bump to the lodge, backcountry lodging, gourmet meals), but instead of full days of cat-boarding, they receive a cat ride to their first run of the day and then are left to their own devices (and skilled guide). Guests get to try out terrain previously un-snowboarded by the cat program and all under their own power.

There are 58,000 acres of terrain. We’re sure you’ll find something that works.
