Welcome to the premier issue of Traveling Minds.

Traveling Minds - - Table Of Contents -

This publication will dig deep and explore some of the most important issues of our time from multiple perspectives.

Travelings Minds is not a left wing nor right wing publication, but will likely be accused of being one or the other. Both wings are needed to fly and not just go in a downward spiral.

Traveling Minds is about seeking the truth, challenging an increasingly obsolete human culture and creating a new human culture. It is intended to stimulate the independent and critical thinking required for positive change.

One of the articles In this issue is about who Donald Trump really is and what we might expect from him. If things go as intended, at noon on January 20, 2017, Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the President of the United States of America and become potentially the most powerful man on Earth.

For many people, this is a very scary prospect. For others, it is an exciting event that will usher in real change. Mr. Trump is a unique and complex individual. It is important that we the people know who he is and what he is capable of, yet most people actually know little about him but have very strong opinions that may not be supported by all the facts.

Democracy requires a well informed populace capable of making sound choices. In the absence of an informed populace making sound choices the democracy turns into something else and others make the decisions for the people.

If we don't value democracy and work to ensure its survival then we will continue to lose it and one day realize that we live in a situation that we don't want.

It is not too late for Americans to step up, rescue their democracy and restore the Constitution. Doing so won't be easy and most are too busy, can't be bothered or are happy with things just the way they are, but we have to try.
