Vendor Registry Partners with Bid OCEAN/NAPC
The North America Procurement Council (NAPC) and its parent company, Bid Ocean, have formed a partnership with Tennessee based Vendor Registry to offer government agencies and designers a better e-procurement, bid and vendor management system and contractors and vendors registration with government agencies for opportunities below the public bid threshold.
Vendor Registry specializes in providing government agencies with an effective online platform to:
⚫ register vendors
⚫ advertise bids
⚫ manage the bidding process
Hundreds of govt. agencies are currently using Vendor Registry's service and more are signing up each month.
Bid Ocean and the NAPC also offer government agencies a free and easy-to-use e-procurement and bid management system but have not promoted it widely. By partnering with Vendor Registry, Bid OCEAN/NACP can stay focused on its core mission of finding and publishing more business opportunities and rolling out the AMERO and other digital currencies.
Unlike some other providers of bid management systems, Vendor Registry does not attempt to privatize procurement data and shares the NAPC'S mission of making public information available to the public.
It is important for contractors and vendors interested in smaller and more potentially lucrative opportunities to register with government agencies to access opportunities below the public bid threshold, but the process can be time consuming and may have to be done every year. With Vendor Registry, a supplier only has to provide their company information once and Vendor Registry will then register them for multiple agencies for a modest fee.
