Our cover this month may rub some people the wrong way. Some may perceive it as an expression of "toxic masculinity" and others as an obsolete religious symbol that promotes the crimes of the Crusades.

For those who may be confused by such archetypal imagery, our brave knight emerging with angel wings and a halo from the Orion Nebula (where stars are born) is intended to communicate strength, courage, righteousness and hope—something that humanity is in dire need of these days.

According to scientists, the cross symbol on the Knight's chest and shield is actually the hologram of a single photon. So, it is the symbol of light and the life force. This symbol was used for thousands of years before Christianity.

Our modern civilization is made possible by the photons flowing through the fiber optic cables that are the arteries and veins of the Internet. These photons have become the carriers of the human collective mind and this great mind has created a new potential for rapid change. We have been given hope for a brighter future through a simple digital technology called blockchain, which is just an encrypted record that is distributed to multiple parties so that the central record can't be fraudulently altered. Blockchain can establish and preserve truth in a time of disinformation and mass delusion. It helps prevent fraud in a society rife with fraud, deceit and blind self-interest.

This simple blockchain technology can be applied to money in the form of a digital currency, also called cryptocurrency. Money is merely a medium of exchange. It facilitates people exchanging needed goods and services.

Bitcoin, though flawed in many ways, was the first successful cryptocurrency and clearly demonstrated that the people can create and use their own money in a parallel economy.

It has taken several years for it to sink in but the idea that the people really can make their own digital money has recently awakened millions to the possibilities.

Many are just focused on how they can get rich from digital currencies but a few altruistic individuals who care less about money and more about the world around them have been thinking about how blockchain could change the future for the better. The AMERO is the result of that thinking.

Where there was the darkness of despair about the future, there is now the light of hope because the 99% can now take back their power from the 1% through a parallel debt-free economy that is not controlled by banksters or oligarchs. Imagine that!

The AMERO is kind of a barter voucher that gives us the power to liberate ourselves from debt based money, bad government, poverty, bad food and water, bad schools, bad healthcare and so much more.

With the AMERO, we the people can develop a vastly different and infinitely better reality than the one that most of us now experience.

We really can work together to create a more humane, prosperous and sustainable future. Our liberation begins on June 4th. Won't you join us?
