Our 25 favorites of SEMA 2017

The spectacle known as SEMA has come and gone once again and, just like every year, Truckin was on the scene looking for the biggest, brightest, latest, and greatest of all the lifted trucks to stock the pages of the magazine for the foreseeable future and fill the interwebs with all the trucks you can handle. So while we’re showing you only our very favorite trucks on these pages, we’ve got literally every truck that was at SEMA this year on the web at trucktrend.com, so go take a look.

Just like last year, the new aluminum-bodied Super Duty was one of the top contenders, with show-stealing examples like the fully engraved Hanro truck, or the Diesel Brothers “Lightning” F-450 residing in the ReadyLift booth. F-150s were in large supply, too. The LGE-CTS–built SOTA Offroad Raptor had a lot of traffic, as did the Hennessey 6x6 Velociraptor. Rams and GM products made a big showing as well, with a killer one of each flanking the indoor American Force booth and a whole bunch more in its booth outside. There were even a bunch of Titans, Tundras, and Tacomas to go around.

But the big news in the big truck world was the amount of classics on hand. From the Icon Ford crew cab to the R-Tech K50, four-door Bronco, and crew cab Power Wagon, builders were all about building high-end lifted cruisers out of extremely rare, or even nonexistent trucks. The originality of these rigs is what really got our minds racing and excited to see what shows up next year.
