He had recently been diagnosed with throat cancer, been through treatment and had a clean bill of health. David passed away September 2, 2017, from complications of a fall. David was an accomplished singer at an early age as a member of the Tulsa Boys Choir. At Hale, he was involved in Drama, Basketball, Baseball, Debate Team, Math Team and Student Council. He loved Nathan Hale and the long lasting relationships with his fellow Rangers.
