Eschbach says he expects to see a 31-28 Oklahoma victory on Saturday.

“I think the Texas freshman is going to be a pretty good quarterback,” he said, “but OU has a better team. OU should go beat them. Tom Herman will do a good job at Texas, but right now, their offensive line is terrible.”

From Carson Cunningham of Oklahoma City's KOCO channel 5: “Texas 35-31. OU's defense is 104th nationally in turnovers gained and the Big 12's worst pass defense.”

From Al Jerkens of the Sports Animal Tulsa: “OU 35-31. After OU beat Ohio State, I would have picked OU to beat Texas 56-10. After the OU-Baylor game, I would have picked OU to beat Texas 38-17. Has Texas gotten that much better or is OU that much worse? It's a combination of both.”

From Lauren Rew of The Franchise 107.9: “Sooners 42-31. OU seems to trending down while Texas is moving in the right direction. But in a big game, give me Baker Mayfield over Sam Ehlinger or Shane Buechele.”

From Channel 8's John Moss: “Sooners 48-35. OU has too much firepower for a game Texas team.”

From Sam Mayes of The Franchise 107.9: “Sooners 38-28. OU offense runs amok.”
