Restau­rant rob­bery sus­pect nabbed

A man who is ac­cused of rob­bing a Tulsa pizza shop Tues­day was ar­rested af­ter a wit­ness fol­lowed him, po­lice said.

The armed rob­bery of the Lit­tle Cae­sars at 1310 E. 46th St. was re­ported about 12:30 p.m.

A wit­ness fol­lowed the rob­ber and pro­vided a de­scrip­tion and ap­prox­i­mate location, ac­cord­ing to a po­lice news re­lease. An of­fi­cer with a po­lice dog found the sus­pect be­hind the Dol­lar Tree store at 4508 S. Peo­ria Ave., where he was taken into cus­tody, the re­port says.

The wit­ness and the rob­bery vic­tim both iden­ti­fied Hamil­ton as the rob­ber, po­lice said, adding that the stolen money was re­cov­ered.

Hamil­ton was booked into the Tulsa Jail on a com­plaint of rob­bery with a firearm, ac­cord­ing to jail records. Bail is set at $50,000.
