Pa­tri­cia Eve­lyn Gould, 89, of Tulsa, OK passed away peace­fully Satur­day, Septem­ber 8, 2018, sur­rounded by fam­ily af­ter a long strug­gle with heart is­sues.

Pa­tri­cia Eve­lyn Wenger was born in Toledo Ohio, March 17, 1929, to the late Edward and Claire Wenger.

Pa­tri­cia at­tended Scott

High School in Toledo, Ohio; mar­ry­ing her High School sweet­heart, Robert P Gould in 1951. She spent the next 58 years with him un­til his pass­ing in 2009.

Pa­tri­cia ded­i­cated her en­tire life to her hus­band, fam­ily, friends and church. She leaves be­hind a legacy of love and car­ing. Through dif­fi­cult as well as happy times she pro­vided guid­ance, re­as­sur­ance and an in­ex­haustible love. No greater ex­am­ple of love and sup­port will be eas­ily found.

“Pat was an an­gel on earth and now is one in heaven! She leaves a huge gap in our lives that can only be built around… rather than filled,” says long­time friend, Shirley Kokesh.

Pa­tri­cia was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Robert P Gould; her par­ents, Edward and Min­nie Claire Wenger and her brother, Howard Frank Wenger.

She is sur­vived by her six chil­dren, Robert E Gould of Mar­shall, VA, Scott P Gould of Hume, VA, Christo­pher H Gould of Colum­bus, Ohio, Pa­trick W Gould of Ur­banna, VA, Su­san P Nos­saman of Bro­ken Ar­row OK and Me­gan G Ul­rich, also of Bro­ken Ar­row, OK and their fam­i­lies; 22 grand­chil­dren and 12 great grand­chil­dren. “We are for­ever bet­ter for hav­ing had this re­mark­able woman in our lives.”

A pri­vate grave­side ser­vice will be held next Spring at Leeds Ceme­tery in Hume, VA.
