Two months af­ter the 2016 SEMA Show, the Motorsports Parts Man­u­fac­tur­ers Coun­cil con­ducts the Me­dia Trade Con­fer­ence to de­but prod­ucts that weren’t available in time for the show or have since been de­vel­oped. It gives Coun­cil mem­bers who par­tic­i­pate in the con­fer­ence a chance to show­case their prod­ucts with­out hav­ing to com­pete with all the other companies vy­ing for at­ten­tion dur­ing the SEMA Show. We took time to cull spe­cific diesel parts, along with other prod­ucts made for HD trucks that would likely be of in­ter­est to you. Whether they pro­vide more horse­power, bet­ter han­dling, im­proved fuel econ­omy or func­tion­al­ity, we think there’s a ter­rific range of new prod­ucts.

01 AEM ELEC­TRON­ICS HD DIESEL WA­TER/METHANOL IN­JEC­TION SYS­TEM

AEM re­designed their Con­troller Mod­ules for HD Diesel Wa­ter/methanol In­jec­tion sys­tems to ease in­stal­la­tion and pro­gram­ming, and added per­for­mance en­hance­ments. With two dif­fer­ent de­signs for HD turbo Diesel trucks, there’s a Boost De­pen­dent con­troller (PN 30-3301) with an on-board MAP sen­sor (up to 40 PSI), or a Multi In­put HD con­troller (PN 30-3351), with an external MAP sen­sor for diesels with 40+ PSI of boost, a fre­quency-based In­jec­tor Duty Cycle (IDC) sig­nal, mass air­flow (MAF), or 0-5v volt­age-based MAF sig­nal. Re­vised flow con­trol for more lin­ear de­liv­ery, it matches the en­gine’s need for wa­ter/methanol in­jec­tion, im­proves charge air cool­ing and re­duces EGTS. 02 AEROMOTIVE ’03-07 6.0L POWER STROKE LIFT PUMP

Last year, Aeromotive in­tro­duced their diesel lift pump for ’01-10 Du­ra­max and ’09-10 Power Stroke trucks, solv­ing sev­eral is­sues ex­pe­ri­enced by diesel own­ers. In adding a diesel lift pump for ’03-07 6.0L Power Stroke trucks to their prod­uct line, these own­ers can also reap the ben­e­fits that re­solve the 1/4 tank and pres­sure con­trol is­sues, and mo­tor shaft seal fail­ures. 04 AUTOMETER DIESEL TACH ADAPTER

Un­til now, there’s never been an easy way to in­stall an after­mar­ket tachome­ter on most diesel en­gines. A break­through in diesel per­for­mance, this de­vice isn’t lim­ited to diesels; it’s an ideal so­lu­tion for any ve­hi­cle with an al­ter­na­tor that needs an ac­cu­rate tach sig­nal, and the in­stall is sim­ple and war­ranty friendly. Auto Me­ter’s Diesel Tach Adapter uses a small pick-up probe on the out­side of the al­ter­na­tor to read its ro­ta­tion. 07 HYPERTECH 2017 FORD SU­PER DUTY SPEEDOMETER CALIBRATOR

For 2017 Ford F-se­ries Su­per Duty trucks, Hypertech has re­leased their In-line Speedometer Calibrator (PN 730125), which cor­rects the speedometer and odome­ter for non-stock tire sizes and/or rear gear ra­tios.
