Three people were hospitalized Wednesday after officers apparently fired on a black SUV that breached the main gate of the National Security Agency, the FBI said.

Though authorities had not determined why the SUV crashed through the gate, FBI Special Agent in Charge Gordon Johnson said the bureau did not believe the incident was terrorismrelated.

The FBI said authorities arrested the two passengers and the driver, who was injured. A civilian and a police officer had injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
