At 20, Julio Urias is too young to legally drink the champagne that ballplayer­s spray when they clinch a playoff berth.

But improved pitching by Urias, in the midst of a tight divisional race with the San Francisco Giants, improved the odds that his

older teammates can indulge in the bubbly pastime next month.

In three consecutiv­e starts, Urias led the Dodgers to victory by allowing earned one run or fewer. But with 102 innings this year — including 57 in the big leagues, where he’d never previously worked — he has exceeded his highest minor league total, 872⁄ in 2014. 3

Clayton Kershaw ( herniated disk in back) said he felt 100% after a 22-pitch session Aug. 20, his first bullpen workout in more than a month. The team hopes Kershaw can return in September.

But the Dodgers were hit by two more injuries: Right fielder

Josh Reddick caught his finger on a hotel room door, and lefthander Scott Kazmir was scheduled for an MRI on his back after another poor outing.
