STEELERS, 27-13

USA TODAY Sports Weekly - - NL WEST - Browns RB Isaiah Crowell.

Consensus line: Steelers by 9 Prediction: The Steelers are confident in what they do, and though RB Le’Veon Bell has to shake rust he’ll be effective. QB Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t tuck it and run as much as he used to, and he trusts his offensive line to give him time to scan the field. The Browns are a mystery offensively because of roo-

kie QB DeShone Kizer, but it’s a safe bet they’ll try to play it safe with the running game and take the occasional deep shot against an unproven Steelers secondary. The defense and the game plan should keep the Browns close, but unless Kizer hits some of those deep ones and the Browns win the turnover battle, they won’t be able to keep up.

uSTART: Steelers WR Martavis Bryant. Just fully reinstated by the NFL, Bryant has a good matchup against an inept defense. Cleveland allowed 36 receiving touchdowns in 2016.

uSIT: Crowell is being touted as a top-15 NFL running back, and while he has upside, the Steelers are going to key in on stopping Crowell. Look for Pittsburgh to stuff the box and contain Crowell, while making rookie QB DeShone Kizer try to beat them.
