TEXANS, 23-20

USA TODAY Sports Weekly - - WEEK 2 MATCH UP - Bengals QB Andy Dalton.

Consensus line: Bengals by 31⁄ Prediction: The Texans and Bengals entered 2017 ready to put disappointing 2016 seasons behind them. Both fell completely flat on their faces in dreadful openers. Atrocious offensive line play led to countless sacks, quarterback turnovers, early deficits, ineffective running games and a few boos from

their home crowds. How do they recover? By winning in Week 2. Give a slight edge to the Texans, who have way too much talent on defense to have a repeat performance of Week 1. The pass rush will rattle Bengals QB Andy Dalton and force turnovers, and the offense will play with generous field position and squeak its way to victory.

uSTART: Texan RB Lamar Miller. Miller totaled 96 yards from scrimmage in a Week 1 loss to the Jaguars. The Bengals surrendered 157 rushing yards and a touchdown to opposing running backs in their opener.

uSIT: Things won’t get any easier for Dalton after throwing for 170 yards and being intercepted four times in a Week 1 loss to the Ravens. The Texans allowed 125 passing yards last week and until the Bengals can establish a run game, Dalton/s upside is limited.
