BILLS, 26-23

USA TODAY Sports Weekly - - LEADING OFF -

Consensus line: Bills by 3. Prediction: The Bills have an excellent opportunity to reach 6-2, which would be their best start since going 7-1 in 1993, their last Super Bowl season. First-year head coach Sean McDermott has preached a simple formula: Be opportunistic on defense and efficient and turnoverfree on offense. So far, so good, as the Bills have moved into sole pos- session of second place in the AFC East and have put themselves in good position for wild-card contention. The Jets, meanwhile, are viewing this as a must-win. They’re going to need to stop RB Lesean McCoy from burning them again, run the ball more effectively and close out games. Divisional familiarity should make this close, but look for the Bills to keep on rolling.
