SALESFORCE NAMES FIRST CHIEF EQUALITY OFFICER
Salesforce.com has named Tony Prophet as its first chief equality officer to focus on initiatives to bring greater diversity to the business software company. Prophet, a former Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard executive, will report directly to Salesforce chief executive officer Marc Benioff. The appointment reflects the growing emphasis Silicon Valley tech companies are placing on addressing the lopsided demographics of the industry.
