‘AMERICA’S GOT TALENT’
NBC’s talent competition show’s eleventh-season finale Wednesday saw 12-year-old, ukulele-playing singer-songwriter Grace VanderWaal crowned champion. The show scored 14.1 million viewers, ‘America’s Got Talent’s biggest finale in five years. It also marks a 46% jump, of 4.5 million viewers, from last year’s finale (which ran against a Republican presidential debate), according to preliminary Nielsen ratings. The finale caps the show’s mostwatched season since 2011.
