COUNTY GOES ALL OUT FOR TRUMP
Rural Wayne County, about 100 miles southwest of Nashville, has roughly 23 people per square mile and is the second-largest county geographically in Tennessee. Those miles are filled with rolling hills, farmlands, lumberyards, churches and fewer than 17,000 people. More than 93% of them are white. At 86%, Wayne County had the highest percentage of Donald Trump voters of any county in the state. The county has gone for the Republican presidential candidate every election since at least 1912. Here's a look at its voting breakdown in the 2016 presidential election.
