CUTLER SHAKES OFF RUST IN SHORT DOLPHINS DEBUT
Jay Cutler wasn’t in for long, but the quarterback gave onlookers a glimpse of where their new starter stands after coming out of retirement to join the Miami Dolphins as Ryan Tannehill’s fill-in. Cutler completed three of six passes for 24 yards in two drives Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens before giving way to backup Matt Moore. Cutler’s longest completion was a 16-yard pass to DeVante Parker. Cutler agreed to a one-year deal with the Dolphins last Sunday, reuniting with coach Adam Gase two years after the Dolphins coach served as offensive coordinator in one of the quarterback’s most successful seasons with the Chicago Bears.
