AFL-CIO HEAD HAS HARSH WORDS ON WHITE HOUSE

AFL-CIO Pres­i­dent Richard Trumka said Wed­nes­day that it has been dif­fi­cult to work with the White House be­cause the fac­tion that agrees with union lead­ers on trade “turned out to be racist” while the other fac­tion is “Wall Streeters” who care lit­tle about work­ing peo­ple. hosted by The Chris­tian Sci­ence Mon­i­tor,

re­ferred to the fac­tion led by for­mer chief strate­gist Steve Ban­non when he talked about “racist” ad­vis­ers who agree with unions that trade deals are hurt­ing work­ers.

Ban­non and coun­tert­er­ror­ism ad­viser Se­bas­tian Gorka left the White House this month amid crit­i­cism of what some said was their sup­port of white na­tion­al­ist groups. Both re­turned to Bre­it­bart News.
