Villanova men’s bas­ket­ball coach Jay Wright, on the death of Rol­lie Mas­simino, 82. The coach­ing icon led Villanova for 19 sea­sons and guided the Wild­cats to the 1985 NCAA na­tional cham­pi­onship, stun­ning No. 1 Ge­orge­town 66-64. Mas­simino, who was in­ducted into the Col­le­giate Bas­ket­ball Hall of Fame in 2013, also coached at UNLV, Cleve­land State and, for the last 11 sea­sons, Keiser Univer­sity in West Palm Beach, Fla.
