BODY RHYTHMS FIND WINS 3 AMERICANS NOBEL PRIZE
The Nobel Prize for physiology or medicine has been awarded to three Americans for discoveries about the body’s daily rhythms. The citation for the $1.1 million prize says Jeffrey C. Hall, Michael Rosbash and Michael W. Young isolated a gene that controls the normal daily biological rhythm.
They “were able to peek inside our biological clock and elucidate its inner workings,” the citation says.
