Armored cars proposed to move California’s marijuana tax money

California should use armored cars to transport hundreds of millions of dollars in cash tax payments expected next year from the state’s legal marijuana market, John Chiang, the state treasurer, said Tuesday.

On Jan. 1, the state will enter a new era when recreational sales of cannabis become legal.
