Trump warns that Palestinians may lose American aid money

President Trump suggested the administration might cut off aid money to the Palestinian Authority, asking why the United States should make “any of these massive future payments” when the Palestinians are “no longer willing to talk peace.”

Trump tweeted that “we pay the Palestinians HUNDRED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS a year and get no appreciation or respect. They don’t even want to negotiate a long overdue … peace treaty with Israel.” Trump infuriated Palestinians last year when he announced that the United States would consider Jerusalem the capital of Israel and move its embassy there.
