JD SPORTS FASHION TO BUY FINISH LINE FOR $558M

Struggling sportswear retailer Finish Line agreed to sell itself to a United Kingdom-based peer that has been trying to gain a foothold in the U.S. Athletic apparel company JD Sports Fashion has reached a deal to buy the Indianapolis-based Finish Line for roughly $558 million. Finish Line has 556 stores, along with branded floor space in hundreds of Macy’s locations.
