HARLEY-DAVIDSON Q1 EARNINGS, SALES DECLINE
Motorcycle giant Harley-Davidson Inc. reported a drop in profit for the first quarter of 2018. Harley said it had
$174.8 million in net income, or $1.03 per share, for the period ended April
1, down 6.2% from $186.4 million, or
$1.05 per share, in the same period a year ago. Harley said U.S. motorcycle sales were down 12% from a year ago.
