Reynolds has seemingly found a real-life hero: Blake Lively. In a candid interview with Mr Porter, the man behind the masked Wade Wilson in Deadpool 2 credits his wife with helping heal his strained relationship with his father. James Reynolds, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, died in 2015 at 74; the couple’s oldest daughter is named for him. In the new interview, Reynolds called their relationship “complicated” and “fractured.” He described his dad as “a former cop, former boxer, full-time landmine.”
